1. Load a puzzle

The sudoku can sit anywhere in the picture, next to anything else. Press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) to paste one straight from the clipboard.

2. Check the grid

Select a cell and type a digit to fix anything the reader got wrong. Press Backspace to empty a cell. Cells the reader was unsure about are marked.

The tool never reads the pencil marks in your picture. It works these notes out from the grid, and it applies every elimination it can prove, so its list is often shorter than the one your sudoku app shows.
